
Greek-Style Lemon & Herb Lamb Shanks with Potatoes
Tender, lemony, and infused with fragrant Greek herbs, this dish captures everything you love about traditional Greek lamb but made simpler and more reliable.

Preheat oven to 200°C fan forced.

In a large tray, line your lamb shanks.

Add potatoes into the gaps between the lamb.

Drizzle lemon garlic sauce over lamb and potatoes.

Sprinkle finely chopped herbs over the top.

Grate some black pepper to season.

Garnish with sprigs of fresh herbs.

Place lemon slices evenly over the dish.

Pour ½ cup water into the side of the dish.

Cover the dish with baking paper, then foil, and bake for 2½ hours.

Remove and uncover. Place back into the oven for a further 20 minutes, turning the dish after 10 minutes for even browning.

Remove from oven and rest for 10 minutes before serving.
