
Perfect 9x13-inch Pan Homemade Brownies.
Preheat oven to 177°C. Line a 9x13-inch metal pan with parchment paper.
Melt the butter and chopped chocolate together until smooth. Slightly cool.
Beat the sugars and eggs together for about 4 minutes until pale, thick, and ribbon-like.
Beat in the melted chocolate mixture, oil, and vanilla.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until combined, then fold in the chocolate chips. Spread the very thick batter into the pan.
Bake for about 30–32 minutes. Brownies are done when a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs, not wet batter. Don’t overbake.
Cool completely in the pan, then lift out using the parchment and cut into squares.
