A fusion of pan con tomate and chicken broth with lime leaf infusion, perfect for a flavorful snack.

    Brush your bread with olive oil and bake in a 180 c oven for 10-20 minutes until golden and crisp.

    Heat your chicken broth to a gentle simmer and add lime leaves to infuse over a low flame.

    Grate your tomatoes on a box grater.

    Strain pulp and add to a mixing bowl.

    Add salt, olive oil, and half a lime to your tomatoes and mix.

    Set aside.

    Remove bread from oven and rub with a garlic clove.

    Spoon tomato mixture over hot bread in serving bowl.

    Pour broth around the bread, avoiding the tomato mixture.

    Add more lime juice, olive oil, and salt to taste.

    Add fresh cracked pepper.

    Add a lime leaf atop bread for serving if desired.
