Add oats and water to a small pot. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring, until soft and creamy.

While the oats cook, slice half a ripe banana into thin pieces so it’s easier to digest.

Once the oats are cooked, pour them into a bowl and let them cool for 1–2 minutes so they’re warm, not piping hot.

Top with yogurt, sliced banana, and blueberries. Sprinkle a small amount of ground flaxseed and cinnamon on top.

Drizzle with a little honey or maple syrup if you like a touch of sweetness. Stir gently and enjoy slowly.
