Season the salmon fillet with a pinch of salt, pepper, and dried herbs.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with half the olive oil. Cook the salmon for about 3–4 minutes per side, until cooked through.

While the salmon cooks, steam the carrots and zucchini until just tender.

Slice the cucumber and avocado.

Assemble the bowl: add the warm rice or quinoa to a bowl, top with salmon, steamed veggies, cucumber, and avocado.
