Quick high-protein mince and pasta using your spice drawer.
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef mince and break it up with a spoon, cooking until browned.
Season the mince with onion powder, garlic powder, mixed herbs, paprika, chili (if using), salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the water or stock and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes to reduce slightly and form a saucy base.
Add the cooked pasta into the pan and toss well so it’s coated in the spiced mince sauce. Taste and adjust salt, pepper or chili.
Serve hot. Optional: drizzle a little extra olive oil on top or add grated cheese if you have it.
