Mix chicken with yoghurt, Kashmiri chilli, tomato puree, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, garam masala, salt, turmeric, cinnamon, and pepper. Leave in the fridge for 1 hour to marinate.
Cook chicken in a hot pan, fry or grill.
Fry onions in oil until browned, add garlic and ginger, fry for 1 minute.
Add all spices, fry for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes and stock, simmer for 2 minutes.
Blend and return to pan.
Add sugar and cream, stir.
Add the cooked chicken.
