Reheat or prepare the mashed potatoes and set aside, keeping them warm.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the olive oil or butter.
Add the ostrich meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through (about 8–10 minutes depending on size). Remove from the pan and keep warm.
In the same pan, add the sliced baby marrows and mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic or herbs. Sauté for 4–6 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
To serve, spread the mashed potatoes in a bowl or plate, top with the sautéed veg, then place the ostrich meatballs on top.
Taste and adjust seasoning, then enjoy hot.
